What deposit is required?
We require a $300.00 deposit at the time of booking for the 2 and 3 bedroom cabins. There is a $500.00 deposit for the 4 bedroom cabins. You can do the deposit with, check or credit card. If you are mailing a check we would need the check within 2 weeks of your booking a cabin.
When at the resort payment options include: Personal/Business checks or cash preferred. MC, VI, Discover accepted, we do not accept American Express. Except for deposits, there is a 3% charge on all credit cards to cover our costs.
What is your cancellation policy?
Your deposit is non-refundable. If something arises and you need to cancel your cabin, we will roll your deposit over into a later stay, up to one year.
What are you check in and check out times?
Check in time is 4:00 p.m. on the day of arrival
Check out time is 9:00 a.m. on the day of departure
We ask that you please do not arrive early to your cabin, we need every minute to make sure the cabins are cleaned for your arrival. Even if you have been to the resort previously, Please stop in at the office upon your arrival at the resort and we will get you checked in and to your cabin. There are a number of things that have changed at the resort over this past season.
Do you allow pets?
Pets: We are a pet friendly resort (Except for Cabin #8 and cabin 15, pets are no longer allowed in Cabin #8 or Cabin #15). There is a $70 fee per pet per week ($15 per day) in each cabin to cover our extra cleaning costs. Pets are not allowed to sleep on our beds or to be fed from our dishes. Pets are not allowed to be left in the cabins alone and must be kept on a leash when outdoors. Guests are required to pick up after their pets. A credit card number will be held to cover any damages. If there are any additional cleaning or laundry costs you will be charged. As other guests are here to enjoy their vacation too, please keep your pets on a leash and please keep your pets quiet.
All of our cabins are smoke free. Please enjoy your tobacco products outside. Please pick up your “butts”

How close is the nearest grocery store?
We have limited items in the lodge: snacks, pop, etc. The nearest grocery store is in International Falls, about 30 miles to the North. There are 2 grocery stores in International Falls. There are two a convenience stores very near the resort (less than 3 miles) that offer a wide variety of items if you run out of something.
Do I need to bring sheets?
No, you do not need to bring your own bedding. All sheets & blankets are provided for you.
Do you have a laundry facility on the premises?
At this time there is not a laundry facility at the resort, however there is a laundry in International Falls which is 30 miles to the north. We do hope to have a laundry facility on site at the resort in the future.
Do you sell fishing licenses at your resort?
No, we do not sell fishing licenses at our resort. You can purchase them at the convenience store which is a few miles from the resort, or you can pick them up via the Minnesota DNR website http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/rlp/index.html
Please note there is a slot limit in the park for the walleye; walleye 17-28” are protected and must be returned to the lake.
Can I bring a boat?
You can bring your boat or there are boats and pontoons available for rent. The park does not have any motor size regulations on the waters. Only jetskis are prohibited in the park.
Can I bring my own firewood?
The Minnesota DNR has put recent restrictions on bringing your own firewood due to trying to deter the spread of several very damaging forest pests including the emerald ash borer (EAB), we ask that you please do not bring your own firewood to the park. There are local firewood vendors in the area.
How far away are the restaurants in the area?
There are numerous restaurants/bars in the area less than 5 miles by car & less than a mile by boat.

What types of things are in the cabins?
The cabins are fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. We have full bathroom facilities in the cabins and appliances in the cabins, toasters, coffee makers, etc.
We will supply: kitchen towels, hot pads, dish soap, bathroom tissue, and garbage bags. Each cabin has a coffee maker w/filters, toaster, microwave, charcoal grill, fire ring and picnic table. Please bring your personal towels and bath soaps.
The address to the resort is 12475 Burma Road, Kabetogama, MN 56669 so you will be able to mapquest for directions to get to the resort.
